Finding good Local Restaurants
Everyone loves eating out. You do not need to go shopping, you do not need to cook nor do you have to clean anything up. I am sure there are many local restaurants in your area.
But choosing the right local restaurants can be difficult. There are too many restaurants to go try them all, so what can you do? In most newspapers they will have a dinning out section which will have reviews of your local restaurants. In my town there are several local papers, and they all have reviews. It is common for one person to say a place is good and another says the same place is no good. So now you are back to square one, your still hungry and have no idea which one of the local restaurants are good and which ones are not.
Word of mouth is usually a good way, maybe someone you now has been to some of these local restaurants and said the cooking was great. If you trust this person go and try the recommended local restaurants, if it is good tell your friends. I am sure the local restaurants you have tried would be glade to have the free advertising and the extra customers.
Once you have found a restaurant you like and will frequent regularly you may want to give the waiters and waitresses a better then average tip. This is usually a good thing to do at a local restaurant you like because you will get better friendlier service, maybe if they are real busy and there is a wait for a table they will see you and put you at the top of the list.
